IEC 61850-BASED SUBSTATION AUTOMATION:
Our company offers IEC 61850 solutions compliant with the latest ITM specifications of TEİAŞ.
IEC 61850 is an international standard for communication systems of automation-controlled substations. This new standard to enable high-speed protective applications (locking and tripping) to work efficiently just like it enables the protection, measurement and observation of all the equipment in signal exchange centers and substations identified between relays.
The main objective under the IEC61850 protocol is to establish an independent communication infrastructure for the manufacturer. In this respect in the automated solutions of substations, communication is ensured with all devices that support the protocol even if the manufacturer is different. In previous communication systems, it was necessary to use different protocols and and they could only do this within the range of their own products for communication between their own devices and for the higher formation of a network of communication.
A single protocol is defined for energy automation systems with IEC 61850, and all devices can communicate with each other and with a higher system if necessary. It being software-based creates a flexibility in the implementation of solutions to be added into the philosophy of protection. It allows for the production of solutions in requests that aren’t foreseen in the project phase but could arise later on that do not require stopping the system or removing cables without coming across issues of insufficiency in physical input/output numbers.
RTU (REMOTE TERMINAL) SOLUTIONS:
RTU is an electronic device that has the ability of real-time data collection and storage and that enables communication between physical field equipment and SCADA systems.

TEİAŞ AND TEDAŞ RTU SOLUTIONS:
The energy information of Energy Power Plants (Wind, Hydro, Thermal, Solar, Geothermal, etc.) and Substations is monitored by TEİAŞ from a single SCADA, and energy production/consumption balance is ensured with this system. The integration of intermediate SCADA, consists of RTU and Communication systems.
